Advanced Criminal Investigations

Description

This course is designed for investigating patrol officers, detectives, investigators, special agents and investigative supervisors that will be conducting major Criminal Investigations.

The training provides an advanced look at proper investigative procedures applied to today’s political and social climate.

All aspects of conducting a complete criminal investigation are presented and the participants are taken through the investigative process, step by step, from the initial crime to the arrest and eventual prosecution of the suspect.

Emphasis is placed on proper documentation and legal guidelines and the impact and effect that the media, defense and civil attorneys along with public sentiment can have on the outcome of the court presentation.

Upon completion of the course the student will have a better working knowledge of today’s field of Criminal Investigations and the knowledge needed to be effective in obtaining a solution for the crime and a successful outcome in the criminal justice system.
