Description
This course is designed for Criminal Justice Personnel who have been conducting latent print analysis/examinations for three or more years. The objective is to instruct the student in complex latent print examinations dealing with distortion effects such as pressure, compression—ridge displacement, latent analysis documentation, QA/QC issues, report writing, visual court presentations, conducting foot print comparisons, professionalism/ethics issues, and courtroom testimony involving Kelly-Frye and Daubert-Kumho rulings. The student will need to bring their own fingerprint magnifiers. This course does not certify the student as a Latent Print Examiner.
